Today you will visit one of the most famous natural wonders of the world – the Ngorongoro Crater. This massive volcanic caldera, often referred to as “Africa’s Garden of Eden,” is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalo, and many other species.

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the crater for a full-day game drive, exploring the lush landscape that supports an abundance of animals. You’ll have a chance to visit the Hippo Pool, where you can see hippos lounging in the cool waters, and also stop for a picnic lunch with panoramic views of the crater floor.

In the late afternoon, you’ll drive to Karatu, a town just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll check into Bougainvillea Safari Lodge. This charming lodge offers a peaceful setting and is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploration.
